PR Relief: Medical help, Aguadilla

The people of Puerto Rico desperately need our help! During my recent visit to the island, I witnessed first-hand that there are still many people without basic necessities. I specifically visited shelters in Moca and Isabela, Puerto Rico and a clinic in downtown Aguadilla, PR to deliver and help administer much-needed insulin and asthma medication to people of all ages. One young girl I saw was 11 years old and had a glucose level of 480. Another young girl, age 9, was experiencing an asthma attack due to not having access to her asthma medication for two weeks. Both of these girls, from different families, were facing these life-threatening circumstances simultaneously and these are only two examples of many more. 

During my visit, I delivered medications worth over $8,000, which was used up in less than 24 hours. Clearly, there is a dire need to continue to collect funds and send medication to support and save the lives of those who are not receiving aid at this time. I urge you to support me in this effort and contribute to this fund in any way you can. There is no amount too small to make a meaningful impact. All funds will be directed to medical aid for the people in these towns and any other locations we are able to access.
