Fire Damage Fund
Donation protected
On March 25, Arthur and Mary Ellen Johnson's dryer caught fire and caused significant damage to their house and belongings. The house is not livable. Everything (and I mean everything) is covered in black soot and powder from the fire extinguishers used by the fire department. The smell of smoke is almost overwhelming. They are currently living in a hotel. Their insurance adjuster estimated $30,000 in damages to their personal belongings, but the insurance maximum is only $20,000.
To make matters worse, Mary Ellen's car was hit by another driver a few days ago. The insurance company totaled her car, so she is now needing to buy another car.
The lofty goal is to raise $10,000 to make up the difference that insurance doesn't cover so they can replace what was lost or damaged.
The Johnson's live in Star, Idaho and attend church at Ten Mile Christian Church in Meridian, Idaho. We ask for your thoughts and prayers if your aren't able to donate.
