Fernando's medical expenses

La vida siempre tendrá formas de abrirnos los ojos y recordarnos lo frágil que puede ser. A veces algo pequeño que no le damos importancia puede llegar a cambiarnos la vida. Todo comenzó con malestares en el estomago. El no poder comer bien, perder peso periódicamente... Le dijeron que todo estaba bien pero lamentablemente esa no era la realidad. Comenzando Noviembre nuestro querido amigo Fernando Cervantes fue diagnosticado con cancer al esófago. A sorpresa mayor, el cancer ya había avanzado a fase 3. La noticia fue devastadora para la familia y amigos. Fernando siendo una gran persona tan querido por todos que lo conocen. Tan fuerte, pero sobretodo, con un gran corazón . La vida no es más que un suspiro, y el lidiar con obstáculos tan grandes nos puede hacer sentir tan pequeños. Lo bueno es que la esperanza nunca se va, y con la ayuda de todos nosotros y sobre todo Dios, Fernando podrá luchar contra esta tan odiada enfermedad, y salir victorioso!
Decidimos crear esta página para ayudarlo a él y su familia con las deudas médicas que llegarán serán muy fuertes por falta de seguro de salud. Tambien para poder ayudar a su familia, ya que él  es el sustento de ella y por las sesiones de quimioterapia no podrá trabajar. Porfavor ayudemos Fernando para que salga triunfante de esta terrible situación. Les pedimos también que nos unamos en oración para que pronto se recuperé y vuelva hacer el mismo de antes. Que tremenda enseñanza que tendrá para contar!

Life will always have its ways of opening our eyes and reminding us how fragile it is. Sometimes the smallest things, those who we give little importance to, can end up changing our lives. It all started with a bothersome stomach. Not being able to eat well, and losing weight periodically. He was told that everything was okay, but unfortunately that wouldn’t be reality. In the beginning of November, our dear friend Fernando Cervantes was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. To add to the shocking news, the cancer had already developed to stage 3. The news were devastating to the family and friends. Fernando being such a great person. So loved by everyone who knows him. Such a strong individual, but most importantly, with a huge heart. Life is so short, and dealing with such obstacles can make us feel so tiny and defenseless. The good thing is that hope and faith never goes away. And with our help, and most importantly, God’s, Fernando will fight this horrible disease and come out victorious!

We decided to create this page to help him and his family with the debt from the medical bills that will be quite hard to handle due to lack of health insurance. This will also help his family, since he is the main provider and because of the chemotherapy sessions, he will not be able to work.
