Walking by Faith and not by Sight

Hi, my name is Carolita and I am fundraising for my brother, Terrence who suffered a major stroke during an exploratory surgery on 1 March 2021. Terrence underwent several surgeries following the stroke. One entailed the removal of a portion of his skull to reduce swelling and stop bleeding.

He was told by some of the medical teams that he would not speak, walk or be able to move his effected side for the rest of his life and no longer be able to work but Terrence continues to improve and has not given into all the negative comments nor lack of concern by some of the healthcare providers. To the team's surprise, he regained a lot of his mobility speedily, was able to speak and continues to show remarkable progress.

He was recently confirmed to be a good candidate for a stem cell procedure that can help improve his cognitive rehabilitation but limited resources has prompted us to pay for the procedure. Terrence is determined to regain some normalcy back in his life and intends to return to teaching in some capacity. Please consider donating to support his treatment.
