PPE Sewing for COVID-19
Donation protected
In early March, I started a Facebook page to bring awareness that I was sewing masks to support medical personnel who are in short supply due to COVID-19. My group has since grown to over 100 South Jersey residents who spend countless hours sewing masks to support our local hospitals.
In 10 days, we have made over 400 masks and donated to St Christopher's Hospital for Children, Penn Medicine, Virtua, Temple and some home care agencies.
The purpose of this page is to raise funds for supplies - our group has been fueled largely by personal donations from it's members.
We need 100% tightly woven cotton for the mask face, elastic or jersey knit fabric for straps (we can also use certain types of ribbons), stretchy fabric head bands for headband anchors, thread, buttons and ziploc bags.
Our Facebook page is: PPE Sewing for COVID-19 if you would like to join us!
