Power Wheelchair for Ret. Police Officer with MS

Help Kurt raise the funds necessary to pay the deductible required to order his desperately needed Power Wheelchair before years end. He has lost his core muscle strength and ability to walk due to his Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis over the past year that once enabled him to use a manual chair safely. He has been completely confined to our apartment in Albuquerque, NM for the past 8 months as he has taken many falls out of his current chair due to rapidly progressing disease, extreme fatigue and weakness. Kurt has been a devoted husband and support to his disable wife of 30 years, a respected police officer with the New Mexico State Police and the Rio Rancho Police Department where he worked as a School Resource Officer when MS forced him to retire long before he ever wanted to. This Powerchair will enable him to safely resume activities outside of the house once again, open his world up to possibilities he once thought we’re far beyond his reach.
