Friends, Family, Ladies, and Gentlemen:
I don't KNOW this family personally but do KNOW they are part of all of US and the American Dream that consists of Faith, Family, and Love. The Lord laid on my heart this morning to reach out to the POWER of LOVE (Luther Vandross) and to everyone to help this ELMORE COUNTY and ALABAMA family. We all either live in the COUNTRY, LOVE our COUNTRY, or BOTH!
Jonathan "Jon" Merritt of Holtville died in an automobile accident last week going to work in the morning. Jon was 29 years old, loved the Lord, the love of his life Donna Gardner, and their children little Jon age 8 and Rhylee age 5. Jon loved his Country, Faith, Family, and his passion was car racing. He was a painter by trade but did whatever it took to provide for his family. He was a mechanic also and could do all sorts of things including electronics. (Sounds a lot like ALL of us doesn't it?) I ask each of you to consider giving even if it's $10. The POWER of LOVE and the internet can be POWERFUL. I ASK you to put yourself in this family's shoes. I ASK you to give from your heart. I ASK you to show LOVE to this ELMORE COUNTY and ALABAMA family and lift them up in prayer. I ASK for this because I know of the POWER of ELMORE COUNTY and ALABAMA LOVE. I know I can count on all of us when the chips are down because "we can skin a buck and run a trot line". We all help each other out and that's "How We Survive"!
Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need any further information.
THIS JUST IN.....
Jon's heart, kidneys, lungs and BIG brown eyes are LIVING on by allowing others to LIVE on! The POWER of GIVING is what Jon had!
CAN I COUNT ON Y'ALL?
In ELMORE COUNTY and ALABAMA LOVE,
Derrik Moore
