Power Generator for Richard Johns

Richard Johns, 54, has multiple sclerosis, is bed-bound and depends on electric disability equipment to manage his risk of choking, help him breathe properly and assist with bed mobility.

He lives in McLaren Vale with his partner Pam but their home experiences frequent blackouts, particularly during summer, which is putting Richard's life in danger.

Richard desperately needs a power generator to ensure his electric disability equipment can continue to operate in the event of a power outage.

Sadly, applications to the National Disability Insurance Agency and appeals to both the State and Federal Governments have fallen on deaf ears.

We are now asking for Adelaide's help to deliver to Richard and Pam the security and assurance a power generator would provide them.
