Post-Pandemic Help for 5 Star Asian Restaurant...

In 1985 I immigrated from Hong Kong. In 2016 I started "Teriyaki secret" a full-service Asian Fusion Restaurant. We have created our sauces, which I make in Blaine, Washington State. While we have done well... We are located 1 mile from the Canadian border, this was closed during the pandemic, so our sales were significantly reduced. We had to dramatically increase marketing, employee and food costs. Of the four Asian restaurants in our area, only two remain. We are one of them. We did this by increasing our advertising budget and focusing on takeout and delivery. Most restaurants lost 20% to 30% of their sales through the pandemic. Teriyaki secret increased sales by about 10% per year.

Funding

During the Pandemic, we were awarded several Grants and loans. These got us through the "Pandemic Winter". One of these loans was through PayPal Business for $45,000. This is a short term loan that requires a payment of $938.00 per week. This is now an extreme burden as our chicken prices have gone up over 112%. Along with labor and other expenses that are up.

We would greatly appreciate any donation as you see fit. This will be used to either assist in making the weekly payments of $938.00 or pay the balance of the $45,000 loan depending on the amount raised.

My goal is to keep a 5 Star Asian Restaurant in Blaine.
