Post-Hurricane Aid for Luis Cantu

Luis Cantu, our much beloved River Oaks Bank Building Maintenance Technician, volunteered to stay and cover the building the weekend of August 26-27 as Hurricane Harvey approached the city.  During the storm that evening, Luis essentially single-handedly saved the building from going under by fixing a pump and keeping water out of the electrical system.

After that night, Luis was unable to get to his house until Wednesday, August 30th because of street flooding. Unfortunately, his home flooded with upwards of 3 feet of water, leaving it with extensive damage. 

He is married with two children, ages two and six. He has been with the River Oaks Bank Building for many years, taking care of each and every one of its many tenants daily with a smile on his face. 

Please join us in assisting Luis and his family as they start to rebuild their lives and home after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
