Hi! My name is Donna Mack and I am a  
ICU nurse at Northside Cherokee and       this handsome gent is my husband Chris!
Unfortunately the last 10 days we have
both been exploring Northside from a
very different perspective.

Chris had a stroke effecting his left
side after a heart attack. Yeah.., YIKES!!!
The good news....every day he is 
working his hinny off with therapy and
has been accepted at Shepherd Center 
one of the TOP TEN spinal cord and headinjury rehabs in the country!! We’re 
hoping to get him there early next week!

Shepherd wants to help every patient to 
excel after discharge... YAHOO! But.......
wants families to be prepared if they still
need help that first month, the GOLDEN
”HOUR”. Which means is Chris’s case... 2 attendants to help get out of bed, bathe, etc, etc in house around the clock for the WHOLE month. I’ll still be working full 
time the pay da bills. 
Soooo, before he can go there we have todisplay proof of (DRUM ROLL..) $20,000!!!!!!!!! Yeah. GULP. We are working to  
scrape the cash together but that leaves us NO cushion afterward!

Everyone here at Northside Cherokee 
had been incredible, taking great care of both of us. We can NEVER thank them
enough. We owe them Chris’s life. And
we’re looking forward to Shepherd
Center helping give it back to us!
Now ....if anyone can help us tiptoe off
the ledge we’ll be on with any $ they can we would be soooooooo grateful. We areboth looking forward to many more
years with all of you!!!!!!
