Porterstown scout den refurbishment

Porterstown Scouts den has been within our community for many years. It was an once an old church, before our scouts moved in. It has been home to 70th dublin porterstown scouts for nearly 90 years.

Due to its age it needs some tender loving care to renovate the building to continue to serve the children of Dublin 15 for many more years to come. Our heating system needs replacing with a cost of €6,200, our ceiling needs to be redone due to blistering with a cost of €5,950 and the floor needs replacing due to wear and tear with a cost of €12,971.20.

Unfortunately due to Covid19 we are unable to undertake our standard means of fundraising and we have had to come up with alternative means of raising these funds any little helps reach our goal of €20,000 to complete these works.
