Me llamo Mariana Braz y estoy junto con mi hermano Octavio realizando esta campaña de ayuda para nuestro papá: Carlos Braz.
Papá nació en el 1949 en Uruguay, pero lleva toda su vida en Venezuela, en donde nosotros nacimos y actualmente nos encontramos.
En el 2011 tuvimos la pérdida más grande de nuestra vida. Nuestra madre fallece ante el cancer, quedando nuestro papá viudo y teniéndonos sólo a nosotros como su apoyo y compañía, ya que sus hermanos y familiares están en Uruguay.
Actualmente nuestro padre tiene un diagnóstico de cancer en la vejiga y epoc, se tuvo que realizar una operación de emergencia ante una fuerte hemorragia, por lo que se encuentra en estos momentos en la unidad de cuidados intensivos
Somos dos hijos enfrentando esta situación tan difícil y en la que además, los costos superan por mucho nuestra capacidad.
Carlos es una gran persona, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar al prójimo de forma desinteresada. Es un padre dedicado y un abuelo muy divertido y le encanta jugar con su nieta, quien también lo ama...Siempre lo dio todo por nosotros y queremos en estos momentos brindarle la oportunidad de recibir tratamiento ante esta enfermedad.
Sabemos los momentos difíciles que todos estamos viviendo pero tan solo compartir o aportar una pequeña colaboración serán de gran ayuda para estar más cerca de brindarle una oportunidad.

El sueño de mi padre era finalmente poder regresar a su tierra y poder compartir con sus hermanos a los que ha visto dos veces en los últimos 30 años, y el dinero que tenía ahorrado para ese fin se gastó el primer día de ingreso a la clínica, así como todos sus ahorros, por eso pedimos tu apoyo para ayudarlo a cumplir su sueño.

My name is Mariana Braz and along my brother Octavio, we are organizing this campaign to help our dad: Carlos Braz.
Dad was born in Uruguay in 1949 but he has lived in Venezuela for most of his life. Here is also where my brother and I were born and where we all live.
In 2011 we suffered the most unimaginable loss of our lives. Our mother was taken by an aggressive cancer, making our father a widow and us his only support and company. His brothers and extended family are still in Uruguay.
Last week our father was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Two days ago, he underwent an emergency surgery due to a strong hemorrhage and is now in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Caracas.
We are two young professionals dealing with this terrible situation for which the expected costs are far beyond our capabilities.
Carlos is a wonderful caring person, kind and always willing to unselfishly help others. He is a dedicated father and a very fun grandfather. He loves to play with his granddaughter who also loves him dearly… He gave it all for us and in this moment, we want to give him the opportunity to receive treatment to fight this disease. We know that we are all living difficult moments, but we also believe that making a donation or just sharing his story would go great lengths in helping us give him that opportunity.

My father’s dream was to finally go back to the land where he was born and visit his brothers whom he has seen only two times in the last 30 years. Unfortunately, the money he had saved for this along with all his savings were gone in his first couple of days of hospitalization. Therefore, we ask your help to support us in giving him the chance to beat this disease and realize his wish.
