Poppy & Dixye help us with our vet bills, please.

Hi Friends, Family and Animal lovers! On Oct 13th, my brother Bob & my sister in-law Dawn’s home went up in flames, their 2 dogs (both lab mix) Poppy & Dixye were rescued by the amazing Arvada firefighters and sent to an Emergency clinic. Dixye, I’m told was drooling soot when they took her out of the house – not good. The smoke inhalation, soot and possible damage to the lungs has been very frightening. Losing your home is bad enough but coming so close to losing your babies, your dogs – family members just increases the devastation and anxiety. Poppy is doing a bit better, but Dixye is taking bit longer to heal and be the happy go lucky dog she is. I don’t usually do this but I’m trying to help reduce some of the extra pain, and anxiety created by excessive vet costs the dogs have incurred by this terrible event. The family has a lot of emotional support, but I hope that we can all come together to help in anyway we can to lighten the weight of the vet bill for these beautiful dogs.
