Aloha,

I am currently doing this all out of pocket costing me approx. $300 per week and that does not include when I have to run kitties to the vet or buy medications & other supplies.

I spend most my evenings feeding & trapping feral & stray cats/kittens in the Puna area. My boyfriend Aaron has been working full time around the clock with me caring for all the cats we take in.

Once we trap a kitty we foster them and start the process to get them ready to be rehomed.

We start off by weighing them, deworming and applying flea medication. We then check to see if they need any kind of medication. If a kitty is sick we will take the them to the vets that offer us discounts, but again that is still out of pocket. Before rehoming them I bring them in to clinics to have them fixed & vaccinated. Currently we have a total of 4 Cat Cabins where we care for these abandoned cats. I am hoping to expand in the near future and plan to purchase more land.

All donations will used only for the kitties. I am not looking for any personal gain, only to ensure that I can properly care for them & help the Big Island with the tremendous over population.
