Pop Opera Singer Tatiana Kallmann - ARTINLIFE

Donation protected

My Dear Friends of the ARTS ❤️

It’s been very tough for me to write about this as I like to keep somethings private. Sadly, my silence has led me to isolation and to deep feelings of sadness. These months have been, as for everyone, very difficult. COVID-19 is a Health Emergency that has led to one of the worst public life crisis since WWII.

All Orchestras, Choirs, Opera Houses, Concert Halls, Music Festivals, Public and Private Music Broadcasters in Europe, the United States & throughout the world have had to CANCEL their public events and have CLOSED DOWN.

As a freelancing Pop Opera Singer who lives and funds her career from LIVE Performances, the cancellation of all of my public performances has been to say the least...devastating.  I had just gotten back to the USA after living 11 years abroad in Europe and BOOM the pandemic hits and with it went all of my LIVE Concerts & National Auditions Tour.

My current strife is REAL and anyone who knows the inner workings of my personal life will know how much this pains my Heart and Soul. With the highest hopes to turn this situation into a POSITIVE one, I have begun to open up and share with the community my Story, Mission, and Vision as a Pop Opera Singer and Female Entrepreneur.

I would like to invite all my Friends, Followers & Music Lovers to take a moment to show some LOVE to my new Go Fund Me Page.

For those who can offer their support, I want you to know that you will become an integral part of the foundation, vision, and mission of Crossover Soprano International. Each contribution will not only have a profound impact on my life as an Independent Artist but will also set forth a positive local and global cultural imprint.

May you be Blessed, Safe & Protected.

With all my Love,
❤️Tatiana

So for those who have landed on my page and have never met me let me start by saying:

HELLO, WELCOME TO MY GOFUNDME PAGE!

Now, to share a bit of my Story I must ask you...  Are you ready for a Short Novel?!?
I invite you to connect with me & my 11 Minute Read...

My name is Tatiana Kallmann AKA TATI. I am a Multi-Genre Pop Opera Singer who was born in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Bogotá, Colombia and was raised in multiple cities in the sunny state of Florida and on the Caribbean island of
Puerto Rico

I was born to young parents that struggled early in their lives to work to become accomplished professionals. With the greatest hopes of searching for a better future for their children, my parents sought out a future outside of the war-stricken times in my birthland Colombia. In this pursuit, my Mother received an invitation to work and migrate to the United States of America.

When I was just 5 years old my family immigrated to the United States.

Since a very young age, I have been exposed to a variety of cultures. All in the pursuit of opportunity and a better future, my parents had to relocate with their two girls (my sister and I)  to many new cities in the course of our life. The journey beginning from our birthplace the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Bogotá to multiple cities in our sunny state of Florida and to the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico.

At a young age my parents discovered, that I had a great passion for singing. I was a very happy child and music was always my form of expressing my joy for life. Every day, I spent hours and hours in my room singing. Given an opportunity at elementary school I was always ready to get on stage and sing.

Though my parents did not have the means to offer me private instruction they never ever stopped me from dreaming my dream. They were always my biggest cheerleaders!

There is actually a very precise moment that is deeply etched in my memory as THE MOMENT "I just knew that was my mission on earth".

We were visiting friends, another Colombian Family and while my parents were conversing I went off to play with the other children. One of them was actually already a teenager, her name was Marcela. She was this beautiful young woman who was always so loving towards me, despite the huge age difference. I became very close to her, and on that day I remember very clearly that she said: "Tatis, I want you to listen to something"... Of course, I was so excited and could not wait to hear what she was talking about.

She took me to the living room and showed me her cassette player (yes the days of vintage technology) and put in a tape. She plugged in some headphones, put them on my ears, and pressed PLAY. The little red light when on and the tape began to play...

There it was...a voice, a sound, a woman, a world that took me away forever. The song was "I will always love you" sung by Whitney Houston. I could not believe what I was hearing. I asked Marcella to please play it again and again. I was transfixed.

I will never forget this but it was at that moment in time that I decided that I wanted to become a singer. I wanted to one day reach the Heart of humans as she had reached mine, I too wanted to develop my voice to those heights and record songs with such beauty, with such emotion. I too wanted to have people listen to my voice one day with headphones on.

Since then I know that Singing is a deep-seated vocation that God planted into my Heart. Since that very innocent age, there has not been a day in my life that I can remember that I have not been completely and entirely engrossed in the pursuit of my Dream.

My burning passion to chase my dream and fulfill my visionary mission has taken me to many lands throughout the world.
All in pursuit of Education, Development, and Opportunities.

But first, it all started in Tampa, Florida, my hometown.

With the immense love, support, and encouragement from my parents and teachers, I began to explore my calling for Music and the Performing Arts as a teenager. I attended the Blake High School of the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida where I was a part of the Chorus and Musical Theatre department and participated in many life-changing concerts and productions such as Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem and various Musical Theatre productions such as „Bat Boy“, and „The Wiz“.

Aside from this incredible exposure I also partook in various Musical Theatre productions, including my first Solo Role as "Fantine" in the world-renown Musical Les Miserables and “Mabel” in FAME.  This rich and intensive exposure at such a young age forever marked my musical and artistic life.

With such an influx of inspiration, I honestly could not contain my passion, I literally had to go CHASE MY DREAMS!
So much that I even graduated early from High School (missed my Senior Prom) and courageously set off to pursue my dream to become a Singer-Songwriter and Recording Artist.

It was then that I took one of my first biggest leaps of faith and dove into my musical passion like never before. At just 16 years old, I decided to move back to my birth city Bogotá in Colombia and lived with my Grandmother. In the course of a year, I worked as a Melodist, Lyricist, and Vocalist with Virtuoso Guitarist & Producer Andres Osorio Toledo composing more than 11 songs for our Pop Rock Project // Unclassified // releasing my first original songs, among others "The Truth", "Your Goddess" and "21st Century Girls".

Shortly after finishing the recording of my first CD, I was honored to have been accepted to become a part of the School of Music at the renowned Florida State University.  During my Undergraduate Studies, I was a diligent student of the Internationally acclaimed Soprano Ms. Shirley Close, who exposed me to the Classical Vocal Technique and the Repertoire of Opera. After 4 years of intense ( never left the library & practice room) Studies, I graduated Cum Laude receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Music.

With a vivacious and undeniable passion for Operatic Singing and European Culture, after finishing my Bachelor's Degree at Florida State University, I decided to embark on the life-changing Odyssey of pursuing my dreams as a Lyric Soprano.
I packed up all my bags, left behind everything, and everyone I knew and bravely migrated to the birth land of my Jewish German Grandfather, Fritz Kallmann whom during WWII fled to South America, later marrying my Grandmother...hence my German last name "Kallmann".

Despite never meeting my Grandfather who sadly passed away before I was even in the panorama, I carry him in my heart. It is actually through the intrigue for my ancestral heritage that I decided to learn to speak, read and write German in a Language School in Bonn, the city of the legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven.

In less than a year of living in Germany, in the Fall of 2010, I began my auditions as a Young Soprano and was selected among hundreds of applicants to become part of the prestigious "Opernschule", an Opera School in the Mannheim University of the Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany.

In the course of my Graduate Studies, I was honored to Premiere as a Soprano premiering the Opera Roles of Despina in W.A.Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, Pamina, and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte and the role of Sancha in the World Premiere of the Modern Opera Echt?! at the Mannheim National Theater.

After receiving my Master's Degree in Vocal Performance I experienced a vision changing moment and decided to bravely walk on the road less traveled, starting my own business and paving my way as a visionary immigrant and Entrepreneurial Woman in Germany.

For those who have not had a chance to watch my Video "ART IN LIFE", I kindly ask you to click on the link below -don't forget to come back though!

This Promotional Video is a video that two extremely talented, loving, and generous Colombian Filmmaker Friends of mine gifted me so that I may spread my wings and fly.

After more than 15 years of relentless hard work and undeniable passion; I was finally given the opportunities that I dreamt of my whole life. With the power of my professionally trained Opera Voice, I was able to cross borders and break conventions spreading the Mission & Vision my Business & Brand Crossover Soprano International all while developing an Elegant, Interactive and LIVE Pop Opera Show premiering as the Main Stage and Headlining Guest Soloist, for renown companies and names such as Heidelberg Marketing, REWE, PORSCHE, WELLA, L’Unione Italiana, Perkeo-Gesellschaft Heidelberg, St. Petersburg SPIFFS, the Rotary Club International.

Some of the most rewarding moments of my career as an Entrepreneurial Crossover Soprano have taken place in the Country of my German forefather. My innovative Classical Crossover Vision has been so well accepted that I have been a Guest of Honor at countless public events performing throughout the Historical City of Heidelberg including the Heidelberg Castle, the 2,5000 Spectator Stadthalle // Congress Hall, on the Balcony of the City Hall, and as the STAR Guest Performer at the 11th Annual AIDS Gala at the Heidelberg Opera House.

As a "DREAMS COME TRUE" moment, I am blessed and honored to share with you all that I was selected to be featured in the City of Heidelberg Image Film performing and presenting my innovative Classical Crossover Vocal Arrangement to the Globally acclaimed Song “I Lost My Heart In Heidelberg".

In addition, I have heartfully volunteered my work and performed for a variety of Non- Profits, contributing to organizations such as UNICEF, Casa del Sol Mainz, Soñar Despierto Bogotá, the Cervantes Instituto Frankfurt, the Paul Gerhardt - Feudenheim Church of Mannheim and Embracing the World® with culturally enriching artistic performances.

With the force of my one of a kind Performance Act I have had the blessing to marvel & enchant an International audience innovating the Music and Entertainment Industry with the Artistry of Classical Crossover Music; a Powerful Musical Experience that seamlessly interconnects & fuses a variety of musical genres including Opera, Pop, Latin, Jazz, & Classical Music.

One of my greatest creations has been that of my YouTube Channel. Throughout the course of more than a decade,  I have been uploading and sharing all of my artistic content and many of my LIVE performance videos. Despite the welcoming response from thousands of viewers who enjoy my Music  & Videos I have to sadly confess that I have still not been able to monetize for any of my work on YouTube. It breaks my heart to even have to say it but basically, all of my artistic material (with the exception of Spotify & Itunes)is currently being streamed throughout all of my Social Media for FREE.

So, my Friends of the Arts,  you might be asking yourself "but all of this material looks and sounds great, you must be set!"

Unfortunately, that is not the case.

The truth is that after 11 years of living and working abroad I just made a very big leap in my career and decided that I wanted to be closer to home, returning to the country that I grew up in, The United States of America. I come back searching to be a part of the land of opportunity; the biggest mecca for Arts & Entertainment in the whole world.

My friends, I literally had the BIGGEST ASPIRATIONS FOR 2020 -  I know we all did! I had a whole vision and plan of how I was going to Fight for my Dreams with the funding coming from my LIVE Performances create incredible content that would help KICKSTART MY CAREER TO NEW HEIGHTS and then ... BOOM COVID-19 hits the world and there go all aspirations of planning Awareness Campaigns, Fundraising Concerts, Live Performances, and Auditions.

I had actually made this Flyer for my upcoming Pop Opera Concert (June 2020) which is now canceled due to the Virus.

My strife is REAL and anyone who truly knows the interworkings of my personal life will know how much this pains my Heart and Soul.

Not being able to fully dedicate myself to my craft which took me more than 15 years to cultivate and develop is as you can imagine simply devastating.

See the thing is my Friends, Music is not only the Gift that I have always wanted to share with the World but it also the Gift that I know God gave to me so that I can Heal and with this Loving Energy help bring Healing Inspiration to our World; it is Soul Medicine.

Music is a Force that connects us to one another and is here to change the world for the better.

I warned you, guys! It was going to be a NOVEL!!

GOAL #1 - Fundraising $2,000+

"Gracias A La Vida" Music Video

As many of you have been able to see and hear I have released a NEW Single!! The Song "Gracias A La Vida" by Violeta Parra. An incredible Artistic Collaboration with Flamenco Guitarist JAVIER.

My next step my dear PATRONS OF THE ARTS is to have a World Release of the MUSIC VIDEO which was lovingly made for this Song.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of FUNDING, the finalization of its Video Project was not made possible. Both Artists, Directors, and Videographers with whom I was working were working out of the goodness of their hearts, with the hopes of helping me with my career.

It is for this reason that I have added this as a GOAL on my Patreon page.

I do this with the hopes of raining awareness of why seeking people like you, my very first PATRONS OF THE ARTS is of the most important to me.

If you have deeply enjoyed the Audio Recording of "Gracias A la Vida" and would like to become part of my DREAM of releasing an EPIC MUSIC VIDEO for this Song please contact me not only to learn more about my Patreon Page but also to learn about the possibility of becoming a SPONSOR for this Legendary Project.

The World Release of "Nessun Dorma" Audio

As an Independent Artist, I have recorded a legendary and incredibly demanding vocal piece Operatic ARIA from the Opera Turandot by Giacomo Puccini.

Before I finally release this project, which has taken more than a year to prepare and which means the world to me, I need to return to the studio for the MASTERING  and fine-tuning process of the last little details.

For this final step and GALACTIC LAUNCH, I am asking for the support of my community and PATRONS OF THE ARTS to help support the funding of my recording sessions, vocal lessons, legal documents and music licenses which are very costly.

THE HISTORY BEHIND PATRONAGE
_________________________________

So you might be asking yourself “what exactly is a Patron of the Arts”?
The definition of a Patron is a person who supports with money, gifts, efforts, or endorsement an artist, writer, museum, cause, charity, institution, special event, or the like. All great Artists in the History of the world have needed the patronage of important figures to help fund their life and the creation of their Art. It is through the integral relationship between Musicians and their Patrons that the creation of Masterpieces that we greatly enjoy today and which have molded the History of Music & Mankind could be funded and created.

For example, our beloved Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had Baron Gottfried van Swieten a mover and shaker in 1780s Vienna as his Patron. Baron was a man who genuinely loved music and was one of the most important Patrons in the History of Western Music. He not only financially supported Mozart but also Beethoven, Haydn, and Johann Sebastian Bach. Another example is Nadezhda von Meck who was an astonishingly generous Patron financing Tchaikovksyfor 13 years and we also have King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the eccentric royal who built a fairytale castle that inspired Walt Disney was the Patron of Richard Wagner.

The relationship between a Patron and an Artist is imperative for the survival of the Arts. Patrons of the 21st century are far less politically motivated than the let’s say the Medici family and they generally don’t house artists in their lavish estates or commission them to paint the portrait of their family. But just like the patrons of old, they are giving creators a pathway to success and economic stability, providing living expenses, supplies, pep talks, and more.

Remember, when you become a Patron you are literally saying “YES TO ART”. You are giving value to the Artistic Work that truly matters to you and providing the necessary support so that creatives like myself can fully dedicate themselves to their craft and, therefore, have the possibility of continuing to share educational, uplifting, and innovative pieces of ART with the world.
