Support Sean's "Road to Recovery"

Donation protected
May 17, 2017 started  as a normal day for the  Sean Burke Family.  Yard work, swimming and family fun.  However, stomach pain began about 6PM and everything changed.
Sean is the definition of a hard working, devoted father, husband and family provider.  Since last May, he has been on a health crisis rollercoaster.  Along for the ups and downs have been his loving wife, Saline, and four sons, Keegan(bone marrow transplant 2011), Karson, Karter and Kolton.
Many reading this are aware Sean suffered a ruptured bowel May 17, 2017 (complications of Chron's disease). He required two emergency surgeries, weeks of intensive care and hospitalization, and months of at home physical therapy and rehabilitation.  His doctor's described his initial survival and recovery as miraculous.  By Mid October, Sean recovered to the point that he was ready for reconnection surgery at Duke University Hospital.  Sean had hoped to return to work as soon as possible after surgery.  Unfortunately, a series of post op infections has prevented that.
Despite Sean's fighting spirit and best efforts he was unable to return to work on a regular basis due to his continued infections and was laid off mid December, 2017.  The rollercoaster ride continues as the family faces the loss of steady income, while at the same time incurring a new round of health insurance deductibles, out of pocket co-pays, high cost health insurance premiums under COBRA and travel expenses to and from Duke University for his continued care. This fund will enable Sean to  receive the continued care from Duke University he so desperately needs.  As I write this, Sean is at home with a drain tube in his back and a pic line for his IV medicine's he continues to receive.  There is no end in sight right now for him as to when he can return to work.  It's been long 9 months, and funds are low, so I'm asking for your support and prayers. This will give Sean and his family peace of mind and stability  while he continues to heal!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!  They are so important right now:) Sean is a fighter and I know he can beat this!!  Love to all!
