Pooch (Patrick) Claytor's Fight against Cancer

As many of you know Patrick “Pooch” Claytor was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer two years ago. He had a partial colectomy to remove part of his colon and was recovering from this treatment when they received news of cancer again. It was just one year after his diagnosis, but this time it was his wife, Autumn. She was diagnosed at the end of last year with Stage 1 Breast Cancer. Autumn, a teacher at Kalaheo Elementary School, had two surgeries on Oahu and underwent radiation therapy for several weeks here on Kauai. She finished her treatments in May. Now, another heartbreaking diagnosis for the Claytor family. Pooch’s cancer has returned and it has now metastasized into his lungs and abdomen. This is very difficult news for the Claytor family as they walk through cancer for the third time in two years. They have two teenage children, Bo (16) and Linkin (14). We are waiting for the results from the biopsy and will update this page as soon as we have more information regarding the recommended treatment plan.
UPDATE: 11/25 1:30pm - CT scan and MRI showed 3cm brain tumor.
In the meantime, let’s bless the Claytor family. These funds will be put to good use right away whether for medical bills, treatments, and medicines, healthy foods, and supplements, to transportation costs and other needs that will arise. Let’s help this family to walk through this difficult time and not have to worry about anything else. Please pray about supporting and encouraging the Claytor family. Whether it is financially or in other ways, every bit helps, let’s make them feel loved and cared for.
