Pongo Power, Inc, is a Brooklyn-based personal training studio in Brooklyn. Our mission is to support each and every member of the community on their path towards a healthier, stronger, and better way of life. Pongo Power's goals are to save lives, educate, build community. A community that we would like to focus on right now is Wadleigh Arts.
At Wadleigh Secondary School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Harlem, NY, scholars are provided the platform to pursue their dreams and passions in order to become productive members of society. This community was hit hard by all of the chaos of 2020, and the caregivers for these students stepped up. We wanted to do something, in support of those caregivers, toward health and wellness.
Pongo Power is fundraising for an emergency fund for the families of Wadleigh Arts. Having a fund available for things like MetroCards, or phones, or a phone bill even, or in a situation like an apartment fire, can help to relieve some stress from the shoulders of these parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents, and many types of important caregivers.
2021 is the year of recovery, the year to bounce back. Please join us in supporting this school, this community, these families, toward a healthier, stronger future.
