Police officer hurt and no workers comp

My husband Roy was injured while working a part time off duty police security job...  He has been treated very poorly by this department store and has since been forced to leave their employment.  He and I believe in paying bills first. So that is what i am doing with his full time job paycheck but after those bills are paid we would always live off the part time work pay checks. Those are gone now. 
So this account is to help a man who always has helped others and is a hero to his family.   His leg was pinned between two vehicles in an apprehension of a criminal.
This story made national news and he deserves to be able to live in peace with as little financial strain as possible.
If you see fit to donate to this go fund me account thank you so very much. He has recieved letters and cards from all over. From here at home to Minnesota to Florida with get well wishes and thanking him for his service. 
This is the 4th time he has been injured in his career and have not ever made an account like this.
