I am raising this amount for word hive's billboard project. Taking the poems the kids are creating in our weekly sessions at The Boys and Girls Club of America here in Columbia, PA, we want to see them raise poetic literacy in our area. This is the first of many synergies we hope to have. Looking for a seniors and veterans collaboration for future billboard projects.

Mission:  To increase public awareness of poems/poetry through teaching workshops, poetry readings, poetry slams, and artistic representation in all forms and mediums such as local billboards, walls, advertisements, sidewalks, and public transport in the local community.  Seeking to support first underserved and vulnerable populations.  To increase the use of poetry for self-expression.

Vision:  We are committed to the education, development, and collaboration of local poets; to awaken artistic expression in local communities. 

Values: Our values include innovation, creativity, advocacy, access for ALL, respect, artistic excellence, ongoing education, collaborative presence, social awareness and deep social listening.
