Pod for the Planet (Podcast)

We are the new environmental movement. But when these issues like climate change and environmental justice are so large and overwhelming it’s hard to know where to start and why to care. This podcast aims to look at the connections between the environment, our society, and all that messy stuff in-between. With a mix of educational topics and current events, we explore art, culture, economics, politics, and every other aspect of our lives that are connected to our environment.


Pod for the Planet was founded by Charlie Olsen and now has a handful of friends and contributors who make this production possible. The goal of this podcast is to have accessible conversations about these big issues. We hope to learn some things along the way too.

Please check out some of the work that we have already done! 

However, like our listeners, friends, and family know we are mostly broke college students. When Charlie graduates in May we will no longer have access to the equipment that he received as a grant for SUNY Plattsburgh. This fundraiser will help the Pod team to buy necessary equipment and will also help with new branding materials and other development. This funding will help us make the podcast sustainable come May. We appreciate the support we’ve received over the past few years and anything and everything that you can give!
