Mary's Medical Fund

On November 10th, 2017, Mary and her husband Tommy recieved devastating news that Mary tested positive for uterine cancer(endometrial).  In the blink of an eye their lives are being turned upside down by no fault of their own. The doctor informed Mary that she will be needing extensive care including radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery.  She was advised to immediately quit her job as she is about to start the grueling process of radiation requiring it 5 days a week for 5 weeks straight then following up with chemotherapy and so on. A completely devastating thing to hear!  Not only is being told you have cancer a big enough knock down but Mary absolutely loved the job she had working with animals so naturally it breaks her heart having to leave. Anyone who knows Mary knows her job meant everything to her. No one is ever prepared for something like this, not financially, physically, or emotionally. 



 
As hard as all of this news is to take, it's even harder when the treatment centers are 2 hours away from home.   Now without working, Mary and Tommy will be taking a big hit to their income. Many of you who know Mary and Tommy, know how much they love animals. They not only have themselves to worry about but also a house full of rescue animals that they took in over the years.  To honor Mary, we could never forget about them in all of this.  With this hard hit to their livelyhood, their little animals still need food and care also. 



Mary and Tommy are two of the best human beings I ever had the priveledge to call my friends, actually they are more like family to me. They never miss a chance to help someone out, to help an animal, and they would give anyone the shirt off their backs if someone needed it more than them.  They've given people their last dollar on many occasions. I know all of this because they've stood by me through some of my roughest days. My hope is that together we can all help them get through these difficult days ahead . To take some of the financial stress off their shoulders so they can focus solely on Marys treatments and curing her of cancer. 




Any monetary donation will be used for the following:

*gas money to travel to treatment centers
*Groceries
*Co pays on treatments/medicines/procedures/drs visits/ medical bills
*Pet food/their animals medications/litter etc.
*Monthly home bills such as electricity, insurance, prescriptions, phone, etc.
