Cancer Is NOT my friend!

Asking for help is not fun. Neither is cancer. Cancer doesn't care who you are. Cancer doesn't care how hmuch energy you have or don't have or that your chemo makes you exhausted at the drop of a hat. Cancer doesn't care about medical bills or the fact that you need to work in order to pay for everything. Cancer will not wait for everything to "work itself out". I am looking for some compassion right now. I hope I find it.

I am a 47-year-old US Air Force veteran and was otherwise healthy until I was diagnosed with Stage III Follicular Lymphoma 3b in April of this year. A PET scan revealed that it was throughout my entire lymphatic system and needed aggressive treatment. I started chemo in May and the fees are building up. I get absolutely no help from the VA (In fact, they dropped my health coverage). Plus, the effects of the chemo and the medications associated limit my ability to leave the house... which means I am unable to work for a while.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and NEEDED. I am fighting for my life here and just trying to make it through chemo and back on my feet. Every dollar counts. Yes, every dollar counts. Please help & SHARE.
