I am going to leave this up a little longer to give everyone a chance to see it as they return to work. Kawika is still in the hospital. He spend Christmas and new years there. He has also had another surgery, so the progress is frustratingly slow.

My friend Kawika has struggled with health issues that have left him unable to work during the last two months. He is now fighting a MRSA infection and has been stuck in a hospital for over a month.
Kawika runs his own marketing business, so when he is not working he is not making any money. But the bills and the rent still need to be paid!
I want to support Kawika this Christmas by helping with some of these bills and needs. I need help from you, his friends and coworkers, to reach this goal.
I know the holiday season is upon us, and this is a last minute request - but I think this is an important time to help. I would like to complete this campagin by the new year.
I've estimated a good amount to help - enough to cover rent for 2 months, plus other bills - at $5000.
I think if enough people can help we can make this goal happen. This would take the pressure off while Kawika gets back to working, and provide for the time he needs to start generating income again.
