Please Support Helena’s Road to Recovery

Never thought I’d be in this position, but I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Helena Evans.

On Saturday July 16th, Helena, who is only 20 years old, had a terrible accident that has resulted in the loss of her right leg from the knee down due to the extensive trauma. From the accident she has had to undergo one major surgery to remove her right leg from the knee down, has fractures in her hip, has a blood clot (which resulted in a pulmonary embolism) and large amount of road rash. Helena is still in recovery and will undergo one more surgery. Helena is the mother of a two year old and won’t be able to work or provide for her, by herself, at this time. We as a family are doing our best, & her support system is strong, but she will need all the help & support she can get. Helena will need help getting adjusted to new changes, covering expenses during her healing process as she will be without work, and help alleviating any additional stress that life brings while she recovers from this accident.
