Please Support Grandma's Grotto

Donation protected
On behalf of our parents, John and Desiree Vallario, my sisters and I are organizing this fundraiser to help save Grandma’s Grotto during Covid-19. Our parents have put their hearts and souls in this business for the last 15 years. Even in the best of times it can be difficult to survive as a small business and they now face an uncertain future. Like many families and small businesses around the world, Grandma’s Grotto is struggling. As you may or may not be aware, Grandma’s  has been a family owned and operated Italian restaurant and Gluten-Free Bakery, serving the gluten free community over the past 15 years.  A little over 10 years ago, our mom and John thought about how rewarding it would be to give people homemade authentic cuisine they've been missing since being diagnosed with gluten sensitivity, intolerance, or celiac. John became educated and certified in celiac disease and is known as the best kept secret with the largest gluten free menu in the world. We’ve continued over the years to perfect each and every item whether gluten free or regular to be the best it can be. Our celiac families have entrusted us with their lives as this disease can be very serious. This is a true honor for us. We would love to continue to do so and even work on perfecting it some more.

Our stepdad and executive chef, John Vallario, has been in the food industry his whole life. He was taught growing up that if you are fortunate enough to be successful in life, you must pay it forward to help those less fortunate. We have lived by these words over the years and no matter how bad things got, we have never said no to a charity in any capacity. For us, giving to others is important because it sets the example for future generations. As time moves on, we have also learned the value in reaching out to others for help when needed.

The restaurant is  struggling and we can no longer do this alone.  Since the Corona virus outbreak, we have struggled to keep our doors open. Our safety of our family and customers has always remained our number one priority and by doing so has impacted our business. We are asking for donations to help support our business so we can continue to keep our doors open and serve our customers the same way we have over the past 15 years.  Please also know that no donation is too small and it would tremendously help and would mean the world to us. We have put our hearts into this business and we are willing to do anything it takes to keep it afloat even during the toughest of times.
