Please show your care for Correction Staff

Life is so unpredictable regardless of who you are, some days we might seem to have it all, working hard,  laughing with coworkers, hanging out with friends, as well as providing for our families and changing people lives. One thing I know about working in Correction is that, you can have all of the above I mentioned but with just a blink of an eye, you will find yourself in a very hard place, your life will change forever and you will never be the same person again. On February 22nd, 2020 the young man in the photo who is also a father to a new born child was seriously hurt at work at the Nebraska State Penitentiary . Santino Dut Akot was viciously assaulted by an inmate while performing his job, in making sure inmates, staffs and the general public are safe. The staff member was placed in the intensive care unit (ICU) while in a comma. Santino Dut Akot is a father and a husband with 3 children who all depend on him back home in South Sudan, and without his hard work to provide for them, their lives will be very hard. Please I am asking you to put hands together and contribute the little that you can to help out his family. Santino Akot's uncle Akot Deng Tong have lately been a great help to his nephew and we need to continue supporting Santino financially so it doesn't become a burden on uncle Akot Tong.
