Please help with medical funds for Dawson

Dawson had an automobile accident the day before Thanksgiving. He was ejected from the vehicle which saved his life but he has suffered major trauma. He was taken to the hospital where he received care for a bruised spleen, partially collapsed lungs, fractures of the scapula, glenoid cavity,  acromion, clavicle, and L2-L4 vertebrae. Also, a compression fracture of his L2 vertebrae. The trauma to his shoulder is “really, really bad” according to the second ortho specialist. I have spoke to multiple orthopedic surgeons in our area and no one will touch it. They advised us that they are not capable of doing the surgery and he needs a trauma specialist. We have an appt to see one in Kennesaw on Dec. 2. He is going to need extensive shoulder surgery. Dawson started a new job this year and does not have short term or long term disability insurance. He has medical coverage but has not met any of his deductible for the year. His car is a total loss and he had only liability coverage. Everyone is helping with what they can but he doesn’t have the money to pay everything put back. He will be out of work for a minimum of 6-12 weeks just according to the neurosurgeon about his back and that’s not counting the recovery time for the shoulder. Any help would be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward bills and deductibles. Everyone who knows Dawson loves him. He always helps anyone out and makes everyone laugh. Prayers are always welcome if you aren’t able to help. I know it’s been a rough year for everyone and Christmas is right around the corner but we wouldn’t be asking if he didn’t need it. Shoulder surgery next Wednesday at Keenestone for the glenoid. She said it is fairly extensive surgery because of what it is and where its broke. They will go in from front, detach the muscle, put a plate and screws in, and then reattach the muscle. They will look at all the breaks and muscles to see if anything else needs to be fixed. They won’t know whether they will keep him in the hospital or not yet. He has to have a COVID test before surgery. He is looking at a minimum of 12 weeks out of work. It will take at least 6 months to get mobility back and a year to a get strength back and will need physical therapy.
