UPDATE Help with Doris Deel Freeman's at-home care

UPDATE:

I'm a very proud man, but I am looking for help even though I'm not a guy who would ever want to ask for it.

Here is an update on my mom. She has been doing pretty well. She's doing way better than any of the medical personnel thought she would.

She has had no life extending care since November, yet she continues to be bright, sharp-witted, and, shall we say, spunky.

I thought we should share an updated picture, and I also want to ask for additional financial help.

My family has run through everything that we have, and mom still needs 24-hour care.

She cannot stand, so she needs to be cleaned and changed multiple times a day. Plus, she needs breakfast, lunch, and dinner fixed for her as well as other personal and medical assistance.

Please don’t tell her I said this, but this is very hard on us. SHE IS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN ALL THAT I CAN GIVE HER.
