PLEASE – Help me and my family Reunite with my father after 9 years of being apart.
I don’t remember what it was like to be held by my dad, given that big reassuring hug when I feel scared or share a story with my friends about what we did together on the weekend, but worst of all I’ve never had the chance to hear him encourage me from the sideline when I’m playing footy like everyone else dad, telling me GREAT GAME SON, IM PROUD OF YOU!
Dad is no Angel, he has made some mistakes in the past, some out of necessity and environment, some simply as a result of bad judgement. Dad didn’t have a privileged up bringing, forced to fight for everything he has from a young boy, not the typical childhood like so many of the people who want to deport him now. Dad was often taken advantage of and used by others, lead astray with a lack of guidance or a positive male role model to teach him wrong from wright! But mostly he has no one to blame but himself for where his life has taken him.
Dad paid the ultimate price and has spent the last 10 Years locked away from all his family, often not seeing anyone for months at a time and now faces deportation due tour the unjust laws that deem him unfit to live amongst us. We now face the prospect of him being taken away from us once again, but this time forever!
When dad was sent to jail he served his time inside by becaming a model prisoner! He found GOD, went back to church, practiced what the bible had taught him, educated himself, and even became a proactive positive member of the prison population, becoming a mentor to young offenders sharing his story and offering guidance to others to help rehabilitate himself and others like him. For all the good contribution and effort to turn his life around he now faces deportation.
Please help us with a small donation to raise the funds for legal representation to help keep my family together and my dad in Australia! All we ask is what most others take for GRANTED. The opportunity to be a family! Help me, my brothers and sisters keep our dad in Australia, so we too have the guidance and male role model we need to become positive well-adjusted members of society, and not make the same mistakes he made! What better teacher to teach right from wrong than someone who has felt and experienced the consequences of wrong form right!
Dad will be the first to admit his mistakes, but he is more than ready to come home, give back to society and do what dads do best – Love us, hold us, guide us and keep us safe! But most of all be our DAD!
The laws of our great Country dictated he pay the price for his mistakes! He did so! Why must they continue to punish him further??? But why must they punish us his family who are innocent of any crime???
For all the negatives there are equally as many positives to my DAD! And those who know him truly LOVE him - Please any contribution to our cause, whether big or small is truly appreciated!
