PLEASE help us stay on our feet after our apartment fire.

Hey all. My name is Kendall, and it's with a heavy heart that I ask for financial help rebuilding my life after my recent apartment fire. We are fortunate enough that the building is saveable, but my roommate, Gustav, and I are out of a home for the next couple of months.

Gustav has 6 cats, and they will need help finding foster homes for them as where he is staying, the cats do not have much room to roam, which breaks my heart.

I was able to move in with my mother an hour away, but as a result, I had to quit my job. I am now currently not making income, nor is my roommate, who was a college student. We are struggling at the moment to juggle the reparations of the damage combined with replacing any belongings that we both lost.

I normally would refuse to ask for help; I tend to be independent to an absolute fault, but at this point in time, I desperately need it. If you can spare even a dollar, I would be immensely grateful. Thank you for reading. Thank you for thinking of us.
