Please help us help Agnes!

Many of you know our friend Agnes Demers. She is a long-time Portland, TX resident, local business owner of A Classic Touch salon, and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  Last October, she was  diagnosed with leukemia and has undergone treatment at MD Anderson. She went into remission, but the leukemia returned after seven months. She is now faced with the need for stem cell transplant, which will necessitate her staying in Houston for about 3 months. Her expenses are mounting: maintaining her home here in Portland (for her and her son, who works and goes to TAMUCC), supporting her business, and now the expenses of renting and living in Houston during her next phase of treatment.

We, her Portland friends and clients, want to help her alleviate the stress of living costs, help save her business, and let her know we are there for her. Any amount you can donate will be so appreciated. May God bless you for your care and assistance.
