Please help this whanau out as their 8yo boy battles cancer

Kia ora our names are Brandon & Jazz Pollard and we’re raising funds for our nephew Tristan Pollard and his whanau to help them get through this incredibly tough time. UPDATE ON TRISTAN BELOW

Tristan is only 8 years of age and in August last year he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. A tumor was discovered in his kidney & within weeks of discovery he had to have his kidney removed which he handled like a soldier at only 8yo. We are devastated to find that the cancer has now reformed near his heart & we now have to have to look into treatment options such as chemo/radiation etc. As you can imagine during this difficult time the whanau has had to take a lot of time off work to be with Tristan in hospital for all his operations which he still remains in hospital now. The last thing we want them to worry about is money, bills & treatment costs when they have their young boy in hospital battling cancer

UPDATE 17/04/24: Yesterday we were told some absolutely devastating news. They have found two more lumps near Tristan’s heart that cannot be removed due to their placement. He was given a 30% survival rate due to the limited options he has to fight his rare form of cancer as they were told chemo/radiation would not likely be effective on his cancer. The family is now looking into holistic or integrative/conventional cancer therapies which appear to be very costly & ongoing. We would like to keep this page ongoing for people to continue to donate to Tristan & his whanau and help cover any future treatments costs to give Tristan the best odds possible!
