Please help Shelia fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Hi, my name is Shenetha and I am fundraising for my aunt, Shelia. She has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. For those of you that know her, know that she is an extraordinary person. She’s full of life, caring, has a heart of gold and always puts her family and friends above herself.

Shelia has been told that her cancer is inoperable and the only form of treatment for her would be chemo and immunotherapy. She has lesions in both lungs and unfortunately the lesions are positioned in a place that makes surgery too risky to preform. She has had several surgeries this far (biopsy and to have a port placed). She started her first chemo treatment on January 4th. She is currently scheduled for 4 treatments with scans to follow to check if the treatment is working.

She is a mom, a grandmother and has recently become a great grandmother. She is also a foster mom to 3 additional wonderful kids. So when I say she is extraordinary, she really is. Her main concern through all of this has been the kids and making sure they are okay.

I want to help lessen her burden financially and allow her to focus on beating this. Unfortunately, for every chemo treatment she has to have there also comes a huge deductible to go along with it. One that she wasn’t prepared for. Any funds raised will go to help pay for medical bills, her deductibles, medicine and for a food service to help for the kids.
