This is written on behalf of Scott Houlihan who has received the devastating news of being diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

After months of stomach issues, Scott was hospitalized and needed immediate surgery to remove a large tumor which had formed on his colon. The tumor, along with what has spread to lymph nodes has been diagnosed as stage 4 cancer and needs immediate treatment once he’s recovered from surgery. His oncologists plan to start chemotherapy in 4-6 weeks with an undetermined amount of time for treatment at this point. His road to recovery & remission will be a long one but doctors are hopeful in healing him.

Scott is a small business owner of a local landscaping company in Worcester, MA. Being a business owner he will not have access to disability payments or compensation during his time of treatment. He plans to organize a way to take care of his customers with his employees but he himself won't be able to do the labor needed resulting in a significant loss of income.
