For years our Dad has had pain in his shoulder, he finally got tired of the pain and went to the doctor. He did physical therapy for a month and was starting to feel better. Then at the end of December he went to reach for something that was falling off the counter and ended up in excruciating pain. An MRI informed us that he was going to need arthroscopic surgery to repair a large tear on his right shoulder.
Over the years, our Dad has shown us kids the importance of helping others and doing what he could for those who need help, not expecting anything in return. From plowing out neighbors driveways, when we lived in Austerlitz, to helping family and friends with work on their vehicles or houses. Dad did these acts of kindness without any hesitation. It is time for us to show our appreciation to Dad.
Dad needs assistance in paying for the months of physical therapy and follow up doctor appointments. Seeing how Dad will be going months without a paycheck, the major source of income for our parents, we are asking for help in assisting them paying their monthly expenses. We are expecting dad to be out of work for 6 to 9 months.
How You Can Help:
Donate what you feel comfortable with and hopefully together, we can show him how much we appreciate all he has done to make our lives just a little easier.
