Please Help Rhonda Sterilize and Vaccinate Her Cat Colony

Hi all - I'm Rhonda (or you can call me the cat lady) and I'm raising funds to help spay and neuter the adorable little kitties in the picture as well as the Mama, Daddy, along with a new litter I know was born last month but haven't seen yet. This is the same mama that brought Dusty to me last summer, who I adopted and is currently living in my house with Sebastian.

My neighborhood has a huge population of community (feral) cats and I'm doing my part to make sure they get daily food, water, and shelter. To prevent them from increasing in number, I also need to get them spayed and neutered. I reached out to the Michigan Humane Society and took their training on the trap and release (TNR) and taking care of a cat colony. This is an amazing program which allows me to get them sterilized, vaccinated for rabies, and the left ear is tipped at a significantly lower cost, but even at this discounted rate, the cost is still a lot for one person to cover. Currently, I am feeding and sheltering the 4 kittens, mama, daddy, and soon their new litter so am planning for 10 total.

If you can find it in your hearts to help cover the TNR costs for the veterinary services, I would be forever grateful. I'm not asking for anything more, but if I do exceed the amount I requested, I will use any extra amount to help cover some food costs for myself and other caregivers in the program who I know can use the help and their colony is much larger than mine.

My dad used to take care of a colony before he passed away years ago and my late husband was such a cat lover, I know they are watching over these sweeties and helping to keep them safe. Being an animal lover myself, I wish I could adopt each and every one of them because I can't stand the thought of these poor beautiful creatures going hungry. If one of them is not there at feeding time, I worry that something has happened to them until I see them again. Still, as beautiful and sweet as they are, I can't risk them continuing to bring additional kitties into this already over-populated world.
