Please help pay for Cagri Ure Funeral Expenses

Cagri Ure, a young Turkish man, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in Fullerton on May 8, 2019. He was the victim of a DUI.

Funeral will be on May 24th if money can be raise by May 21st. His family needs to get here for the funeral services, but they do not have the means. They do not even have US visas. He is married to a young Mexican American lady, who is trying to raise funds to cover the funeral costs and the cost of the family to come here. However, she is very short. The funeral costs close to $17,000 and the family needs another $3000 to get here.

The embassy in DC and the Turkish Consulate in LA are helping with the fundraising efforts, but it would be great if the Turkish community could help raise some funds to hep the family as well.

The Embassy has raised close to 10,000, it falls on the CA community to come up with the rest. The money needs to be paid to the funeral home by May 21st, otherwise the body will be cremated because of lack of funds.

OCTAA is trying to help the family inTurkey get here and also raise some money for the funeral of this young Turkish men.
