Please Help Our Friend Hector

Hector Martinez is my friend, my coworker, my employee, and my brother of another mother.  He is one of the nicest, kindest, funniest people you would ever be lucky enough to meet.  Hector is currently struggling with liver cancer and having a rough time.  He has support from his beautiful family.  His wife Maria, his daughter Hannah (age 4) and his son Isaac (age 1).  Hector also has support from his two older girls Stefanie (age 23) and Bethany (age 14) as well as his grandaughter Kaira (age 4).  Hector has been receiving treatments since February and in August will go on long term disability which means he will receive 60% of his current pay.  From that he must pay his normal expenses, health insurance, child support payments, and any medical payments not covered by insurance.  Hector has worked in publishing his entire career including Random House, Simon and Schuster, Santillana, Follett and most recently Hachette where he also worked closely with Disney.  Hector has limited financial resources and while he is engaged in this long term struggle with liver cancer, it would be so helpful if his friends and colleagues could help him out with some financial support so that he could focus on his health and family and not worry about his finances.  Please lend a helping hand to a really good guy who could use a break right now.  Any donation big or small will help.  Thank you so much!
