Please help our loving momma fight this battle!

On March 11th, 2023, my beloved momma, Seledonia Perea, was found on the floor by my brother after she had fallen and was unable to get up. She was immediately taken to the hospital where they admitted her because she was in renal failure, had suffered a heart attack, and was unable to feel her legs. At this point in time, it is unknown if she will walk again and if her kidneys will recover. However we are in prayer every day pleading God for a miracle. We know that only God can heal the sick. What is known is that her recovery will be a long journey of rehabilitation including physical and occupational therapy and extensive medical care where she will need 24/7 care. Our life has changed drastically and it pains us to see our beautiful and strong mother going through this, however, we are please asking for prayers and support. My mom is a single mother who raised my brother and I all on her own with her hard work and love, however will no longer be able to work nor live independently. She was a housekeeper for 30 years and she dedicated everything to her clients and family.

This life changing situation has been the hardest and most sad situation we could ever imagine but we ask God for strength everyday. Our mother is the only person we have and is truthfully our hero; and I please ask for support as we are terrified of the financial hardship that we are going to be facing that includes costly medical and rehabilitation bills. We want to be able to provide our momma with all the help she needs so she can walk again!

My momma is a ray of sunshine in so many people’s lives☀️and we appreciate any help and support. Thank you and may God bless you all. I ask for prayers for my momma with my whole heart.

UPDATE 04/16: We are so blessed and thankful for every person who has taken time out of their life to pray for my momma and for all the generous donations. We could not be getting through this difficult time without y’all’s support and love. We’ve prayed and continued to have faith in God to create miracles in our beautiful momma. As of two days ago, my mom was blessed with admission to the acute rehab unit on a charity so she receives the intense physical and occupational therapy that she needs to recover. Our mom is undocumented and it has been a difficult journey getting her healthcare, however, God creates miracles in front of our eyes and we are so thankful. Her kidneys are in a slow recovery thanks to God and we continue to pray that she makes a full recovery in her legs and kidneys. We have faith my mom will walk again! Everyday she works so hard and inspires us. Her strength is admirable. We continue to ask for prayers and support as my mom will be unable to work, and my brother and I have taken, and will be taking time off work to care for her. We appreciate any and all support with a gracious heart. Our mom is our whole world and brings so much light to people’s lives We don’t lose faith that she will walk out of this hospital with the beaming and contagious smile she has!! God is so good!!

El 11 de marzo de 2023, mi amada mamá, Seledonia Perea, fue encontrada en el piso por mi hermano después de que ella se había caído y no podía levantarse. Inmediatamente la llevaron al hospital donde la internaron porque tenía insuficiencia renal, había sufrido un infarto y no podía sentir las piernas. En este momento, se desconoce si volverá a caminar y si sus riñones se recuperarán. Sin embargo, estamos en oración todos los días suplicando a Dios por un milagro. Sabemos que solo Dios puede sanar a los enfermos. Lo que se sabe es que su recuperación será un largo viaje de rehabilitación que incluye terapia física y ocupacional y atención médica extensa donde necesitará atención las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana. Nuestra vida ha cambiado drásticamente y nos duele ver a nuestra hermosa y fuerte madre pasar por esto, sin embargo, pedimos oraciones y apoyo. Mi mamá es una madre soltera que nos crió sola a mi hermano y a mí con su arduo trabajo y amor, sin embargo, ya no podrá trabajar ni vivir de forma independiente. Mi mama limpio casas por 30 años y dedicaba todo a sus clientes y familia.

Esta situación de cambio de vida ha sido la situación más dura y triste que jamás podríamos imaginar, pero le pedimos a Dios fortaleza todos los días. Nuestra madre es la única persona que tenemos y es verdaderamente nuestra heroína; y pido apoyo ya que estamos aterrorizados por las dificultades financieras que enfrentaremos que incluyen costosas facturas médicas y de rehabilitación. ¡Queremos poder brindarle a nuestra mamá toda la ayuda que necesita para que pueda volver a caminar!

Mi mamá es un rayo de sol en la vida de tantas personas☀️y apreciamos cualquier ayuda y apoyo. Gracias y que Dios los bendiga a todos! Les pido oraciones por mi mama con todo corazon.

ACTUALIZACIÓN 16/04: Estamos muy bendecidos y agradecidos por cada persona que se ha tomado el tiempo de su vida para orar por mi mamá y por todas las generosas donaciones. No podríamos estar superando este momento difícil sin el apoyo y el amor de todos ustedes. Hemos orado y seguimos teniendo fe en Dios para crear milagros en nuestra hermosa mamá. Desde hace dos días, mi mamá fue bendecida con la admisión a la unidad de rehabilitación aguda con una organización benéfica para que reciba la intensa terapia física y ocupacional que necesita para recuperarse. Nuestra madre es indocumentada y ha sido un viaje difícil obtener su atención médica, sin embargo, Dios crea milagros frente a nuestros ojos y estamos muy agradecidos. Sus riñones se están recuperando lentamente gracias a Dios y seguimos orando para que se recupere por completo en sus piernas y riñones. ¡Tenemos fe en que mi mamá volverá a caminar! Todos los días ella trabaja muy duro y nos inspira. Su fuerza es admirable. Continuamos pidiendo oraciones y apoyo ya que mi madre no podrá trabajar, y mi hermano y yo hemos tomado y tomaremos tiempo libre para cuidarla. Agradecemos cualquier y todo apoyo con un corazón lleno de gracia. Nuestra mamá es nuestro mundo entero y trae tanta luz a la vida de las personas ¡No perdemos la fe de que saldrá de este hospital con la sonrisa radiante y contagiosa que tiene! ¡¡Dios es muy bueno!!
