Please help my mom and me pay for a new home

I am so sorry that I’m doing this, but I am in so much shock I don’t know what to do. Long story short, my landlord was asked to do some much needed work on our house. After 3 months of ignoring us, he finally came up with a solution that resulted in the destruction of our fuze box and some wiring leading to my room. It was very clear that something was not right, but our landlord assured us that “Everything would be fine until tomorrow” when he planned to fix the wiring and left us. Now my mom and I have 4 pets and nowhere to stay, so we took his word for it and settled down for the night. At 9:56 pm on January 21st, my mother messaged our landlord that we smelled metal burning and we received no response. At 1:54 am, our attic was completely in flames. The damage was so bad that our ceilings fell through, destroying everything. Not to mention the water damage from the firefighters.  We are pursing legal action against our landlord. I am so thankful for the safety of my mother, my animals, and my neighbors, but I am heartbroken that we are left with nothing. I know times are tough for everyone right now, so I do not expect anything, but please if you can donate even a dollar so that my mother and I can replace our necessities, find a new home, and afford the legal case we are about to take on, I would be so grateful.
