A close friend of mine** needs to move out of their current apartment. They found a great new one but in order to secure it, they need to pay a deposit of $1,000 TODAY (1/13/21)!!
Money has been tight in these pandemic times, and they were counting on to pull the money from a special savings account they have since they don't get paid til the end of the month...but basically the bank is moving too slow to transfer it to their checking account in time. Their family isn't able to help them, they've exhausted every option they could think of themselves and they’re unsure of what to do. They were processing with me and I felt moved to make them this GoFundMe and ask my generous faith community, friends and maybe even willing strangers to give toward helping make this possible for my friend before 5 p.m. today. So basically we need a miracle. This new place is really a great situation for my friend and will help put them in a much better situation.
I understand you don't know my friend..but you know me. I trust this person and I'm asking you to trust me in this. I’d give the money to them personally if I could but alas I’m only working a few hours a week after losing my job to the pandemic and am not in the position to front the money by myself.
So will you please help us?!
