Please help my dog Luke he is seriously injured

I rescued this little dog “Luke” 5 yrs ago. He became family like our little son and we have a special bond “inseparable “ Luke saved a life a few years ago, With someone who was in a diabetic coma. Today was a nightmare. He is a lap dog and rarely leaves my side. I took him to work with me today and he was attacked by not one but two pit bulls. I struggled to help Luke but they had a strong bite around his neck. Blood was everywhere, everyone at the office was screaming and crying   I rushed him to the vet and they said he was critical with bites in his trec, broken ribs, collapsed lung and we should put him down. With my hysteria the vet said you can try a tram-a Center for animals. My husband and I choose to take him. We love ❤️ him so much. We had to try He was barely breathing when we arrived. They stabilized him and he was in a state of shock. He needed a cat scan, meds, IV and surgery.  We had to pay over $7,000 right then to move forward. We had to ask for some help to do it  I know many people think we are crazy but we had to try to save him. He barely survived a 3 hour surgery sewing up his neck and tending to all his wounds, he struggled through it and needs a blood transfusion.  We owe $5,000 more to get his care and for him to be kept in the hospital and have a blood transfusion I’m not one to ever ask for help but we need help.  People that love there pets Understand.
