Please help my daughter Melodie to survive!!

Hi, my name is Lana. I’m a single Mum to a beautiful and kind girl Melodie. Melodie is now 14 years old. Up until three years ago, she enjoyed ballet, music, art. Melodie was born healthy. At less than 12 years old, she would complete the Irish Academy of Music course, play in concerts for the Lord Mayor of Dublin, and win various musical competitions. She is a kind, gentle and beautiful child every parent would be proud of.

Four years ago, Melodie suddenly developed sharp pains in her legs and constant pains in her head; the condition deteriorated rapidly. Melodie was recently diagnosed with the rare genetic condition EDS hypermobility syndrome, advanced condition, rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia. She is currently in a wheelchair and, most days, unable to get out of bed. Melodie loved sports and running but gradually had to stop most activities because it hurt too much, and she found controlling her movements difficult. These diagnoses make the girl utterly disabled if the necessary examination and treatment are not timely.

Unfortunately, it is almost impossible in Ireland to get to a specialist who knows this most difficult condition and can treat it correctly. You have to wait for years, and for a vital examination, patients are forced to fly to a specialised clinic in London and organise it at their own expense. Melodie will also have to fly to the London Hypermobility Unit, a private clinic, to have an upright MRT and see specialists there. After that, she will need surgery on her joints in clinics with specialists on EDS, and patients from Ireland have to travel for surgery to the USA and other countries.
