Please Help My Dad Fight Leukaemia

Some of you may already know that I made a post some weeks back about trying to gather blood donors for my dad, who has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of cancer that takes time and strength to overcome. Initially, we tried finding donors for bone marrow blood transfusions, and due to my dad being hospitalised in Japan, delivering a donation overseas posed a complicated process.

After being treated/monitored in Japan for a bit, the family has decided to go to Australia for treatment - for more straightforward access to donations and preferred hospital laws. As we are slowly becoming less financially sound, we ask our friends, family friends, mutuals, or acquaintances to donate any spare money they have to help us cover some of the unforeseen medical bills and travel expenses.

We are grateful for everyone willing to donate bone marrow blood and appreciate the heartwarming words from those who couldn't contribute but cheered him on. Blood donations may become more obtainable once my dad is in Australia.

この度はたくさんの方々にドナー登録や記事の拡散、そして温かいご支援をいただき心より感謝申し上げます。

既に報告を受けたかもしれませんが、父が６月末に急性骨髄性白血病と診断されました。今、父の白血病を治すための骨髄のドナーを探している最中です。

残念ながら日本ではドナーを見つけることが難しそうです。しばらくお仕事をお休みさせていただきながら、次の治療のためオーストラリアに行くことになりました。オーストラリアの方が父も安心して治療に立ち向かうことができるのではないかと思っております。

６月末から受けてきた日本での治療は予想以上の大きな費用でした。オーストラリアに行くための渡航費もあり、個人でまかなうことが難しくなっております。

そこで、寄付を集めることになりました。

勝手なお願いで大変心苦しいのですが、父の命を救うために皆様のお力にすがるしかないと思っております。
