Please help my dad battle Stage 4 Colon Cancer

This past week has been a whirlwind of events and emotions. My dad, and grandfather to my kids, Kelly May, 56 years old, was just going through his day to day working 60 hours a week and enjoying fishing with our little brother on his days off (the rest of my sibilings and I live further away). My dad has always been a family man and would want to spend his off time with us. There are 4 of us. He always made us his number one priority. Last week his entire world changed in an instant when he was sent to the ER due to not being able to pass stool and severe bloating…which then turned into him finding out he had Stage 4 Colon Cancer (one of the fastest progressing cancer) and having to immediately get surgery and end up with a colostomy bag attached to his stomach. He had just started his new job (to be able to be closer to home) so he has very limited amount of resources and his medical insurance will soon run out. He will also have a high probability of being terminated which will lead to him not being able to work and pay his bills.

 

Please consider donating to help cover the cost of medical bills, any future surgeries he may have to have again if the tumor comes back, or expenses of the after math of this if he does not make it, and other expenses that may continue to come up on this long journey..

 

If you’ve ever had the chance of being around my dad then you’ll know that he’s the most generous, caring, and giving person. He would never ask anyone for anything but would always help someone who needed it. A dad and also an Air Force veteran, he has worked so hard his whole life and especially for us. Not only would I like to be able for us to return the favor, but I’m praying that we can help him be less stressed while also trying to battle this sickness and be able to spend a little more time with us on earth.
