Please help Mike Isenberg in his hour of need!

This is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve set up this page for my brother, Mike Isenberg, who was recently told he has terminal (stage 4) pancreatic cancer with metastasis to his liver. Monday, 2/14 he had a port put into place through which he’ll receive chemotherapy. He has been told that this terminal cancer will take his life in less than a year, most likely months.

Mike was born with with many gifts. He taught himself how to do things of his greatest interest – music and art. Mike has lived his life pursuing his gift of writing and performing music often drawing his own cover art. Many of the people reading this have seen him perform. He was blessed to meet and marry his wife Kimberly, who is most certainly the love of his life, and she echoes those words about him. The two of them just moved to Jacksonville, Florida and bought their dream home, expecting to live a long and happy life together there.

Mike is currently in tremendous pain and has become extremely weak. He begins chemotherapy on 2/23. Kim is off work on family medical leave to take care of Mike and I’m certain that nobody could do that better or with more love and compassion than her. With all that has been handed them with this diagnosis and prognosis, Mike’s biggest concern is Kim and not leaving her with a mountain of medical expenses along with the cost of maintaining their home. A million expenses come into play with critical terminal illness.

So many people have expressed their wish that they could help Mike & Kim in some way and that brought me to create this Go Fund Me page for them. With neither of them able to work right now it is understandable that they’re wondering how to pay the portion of Mike’s medical care that insurance doesn’t pay and keep up with the typical expenses of their home. I want to keep Kim by his side as this progresses, because she is the best possible comfort that he has and needs right now. If you have the means to help them, please do.
