Ruby SURVIVED multiple strokes you can Help!
Don protégé

Hello everyone,
I'm Tabitha Tighe, and I'm reaching out to you during a horrific time for my family. My Daughter Ruby Fink is a Rennie from birth, very much my little anime fan, a bookworm, one of my best friends, a diamond artist, my assistant gardener, my assistant woodworker, my Dragon Girl and going through a serious health crisis starting from a simple pimple that turned into a complicated situation, including a boil, infection, and MRSA. Now, she's bravely fought meningitis, a blood clot behind her eye, and pneumonia plus now 2 Major and 10 Minor STROKES at 22 while in the Intensive Care Unit At Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
On top of this, both Ruby and I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a condition causing pain, joint issues, and constant exhaustion. Because of EDS, I can't stay overnight at the hospital, so I need to make frequent visits.
She also is DHH and uses hearing aids full time. Lastly, My dear Ruby has severe psychiatric issues including Schizoaffective disorder along with other issues making care difficult as she doesn't understand what is happening without her psychiatric medication.
Finally the financial aspect is another challenge. Daily trips to the hospital which will soon be over with services like Lyft cost around $40, but, unfortunately, my social security funds are used for bills and groceries every month, leaving nothing for these essential transportation expenses or the ability to feed her boyfriend, Josh, who has yet to leave her side for more than a day.
We are hoping to BRING RUBY HOME!
She will have profound issues to but we are confident that she can make some kind of meaningful recovery. We are gonna FIGHT for her as hard as she FOUGHT to survive.
One of the last conversations she had before the 12 strokes was with her boyfriend Josh. She said " I have to get better we haven't gone dancing yet like you PROMISED!"
She is so strong. I'm so proud of every improvement! We decided to think outside the box to bring her home.
Today we found a yoga swing and a hammock chair! Both encourage large muscle use! We have a human size dog bed for playtime with her Gomez(Husky/Border Collie) Mommys Fester(purebred Black pug) and Freya the pug/pom coming to cuddle in. Bonus she can cuddle the cats Lurch and Sadie!
We just got a hospital bed and all her feeding supplies so we are ready for her.
I'm reaching out for your support. Your contribution, big or small, will greatly ease our financial strain and allow us to work towards a wheelchair accessible vehicle during this critical period. We deeply appreciate your kindness and support.
Thank you for standing with us through these challenging times.
Warm regards,
Tabitha Tighe
