Please Help Me Stay Housed — International Student in Crisis

Hi, my name is Keren-Happuch. I never imagined I’d be in a position like this, but I’m reaching out because I really need help.

I’m an international student in the U.S., doing my best to juggle school, life, and everything in between. Lately, though, things have gotten overwhelming. I’m behind on rent, barely affording food, and I’ve received notice that I could be evicted soon. I’m scared. I’m trying everything I can, but my options are limited—especially as someone far from home with no family around and no safety net.

I’m not asking for a lot—just enough to catch up on rent and keep myself afloat for the next month or two while I figure things out. Every dollar helps. Every share helps. If you’ve ever felt stuck or far from home, I hope you understand how hard this is to write.
